What is Hyaluronidase

Hyaluronidase is the enzyme that causes the breakdown (hydrolysis) of hyaluronic acid.  Hyaluronidase (Hyalese) injections are a valuable options when hyaluronic acid fillers needs to be dissolved. Hyaluronic acid are the most common dermal fillers used for the treatment of lines, folds and wrinkles, and for the enhancement or volumisation of cheeks, lips, tear trough, chins and noses.

Hyaluronidase is the enzyme that causes the breakdown (hydrolysis) of hyaluronic acid and speed the body absorption of the fillers sets inaccurately, uneven or overfilled.

How it works:

Hyaluronidase injection is infused in to the region of the filler with aim to quickly break down the filler between 4-48hrs.
Hyaluronidase is an enzyme which accelerates the absorption of hyaluronic acid based dermal fillers. When used in small quantities it can help to smooth bumpy areas after cosmetic filler injection. When restricted to overfilled areas, the response can take a few days to be noticeable.
