Hyperhidrosis is an excessive pathological sweating by the armpits and palms of the hands or legs, so difficult to control and so annoying and unsightly. This excessive secretion of sweat appears to the skin surface above what is normally required to control body temperature. In this case the Botulinum Toxin is injected directly into the armpits or hand, intramuscularly or subcutaneously to reduce hyper-perspirant. *

The effects of this treatment may last between six months to a year depending on individual’s case, so during this time the patient will be without sweating by the armpits, or by the palms of the hands, which will not affect other areas.
The most frequent location is usually the armpit (axillary) and the palm, but it can appear on the face, scalp and at the plantar areas (All these areas can be treated).
